The Philadelphia Eagles have traded quarterback Kevin Kolb to the Arizona Cardinals for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2012 2nd round pick. Earlier in the day the Eagles picked up defensive end Jason Babin who played for the Tennessee Titans last year.
The top free agent of 2011 conerback Nnamdi Asomugha has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Asomugha plays the right side while Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie plays the left side. Does this mean Asante Samuel will be leaving? Earlier in the day quarterback Vince Young was picked up by the Eagles.
The Philadelphia Eagles have added another free agent acquisition, former Green Bay Packer, Cullen Jenkins. After signing Jenkins to a 5 year deal, the Eagles traded defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley to the Cleveland Browns. Bunkley was the Eagles 1st round pick in the 2006 draft.
The Eagles were once again very aggressive in signing more free agents. The first signing was 29 year old running back, Ronnie Brown. Brown played his first six years in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins. In the other signing, the Eagles picked up Ryan Harris an offensive tackle who played four seasons with the Denver Broncos. Both players were signed to 1 year contracts. This make the 8th major signing of free agents in 2011.
